Role Overview
Exobiosphere is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineering Intern with experience in C++, real-time development, and unit testing. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge software solutions, contributing to the development of high-performance real-time applications. Responsibilities
Software Development:
Develop, test, and optimize real-time software applications using C++.
Implement unit tests to ensure software reliability and performance.
Work on performance tuning and debugging of real-time systems.
Collaboration & Integration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software into larger systems.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Research & Innovation:
Explore new technologies and methodologies to enhance system performance.
Contribute to technical documentation and best practices for software development.
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in C++ with knowledge of modern C++ standards (C++11 and beyond).
Experience with real-time systems development and optimization techniques.
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as Google Test, Catch2, or similar.
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for software engineering.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of multithreading and concurrent programming.
Experience with embedded systems or low-latency applications.
Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
